**Job Description**:
In this role, you will ensure that material movements are allocated and supported by production activities along with maintaining accurate inventory and associated records. Lead the communication with internal stakeholders to ensure customers receive orders promptly.

**Key responsibilities of the role**:

- Execute warehouse operations and processes to meet and exceed agreed service levels to PPG Customers
- In collaboration with HSE, promote and maintain safe, tidy and clean working environment that is aligned with company policy
- Physical handling of materials (including raw, WIP and finished goods) through network including goods receipt, accurate storage and staging/dispatch
- Receiving finished goods from production and storing or dispatching as required
- Support dynamic and accurate records management of all materials handled including receipting, issuing to production orders and dispatch (consigning) and invoicing
- Pick, prepare and stage material for production orders as allocated
- Labelling of product and locations maintenance
- Maintenance of storage locations and handling in line with governance standards (including segregation of DG and quarantine product)
- Support Logistics consignment administration and tactical level activities including management of inbound and outbound fleets and tracking status of consignment movements
- Support daily stores operational activities (including resolving escalated issues) ensuring ongoing customer requirements are satisfied
- Undertake Cycle and Stock Counts
- Maintain strict and accurate inventory control (in line with PPG Standards) to minimise loss and damage of product during storage and transportation

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience in warehouse / materials handling operations (warehousing, production, or distribution environments), in a similar fast-paced environment
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A sound understanding of SAP Manufacturing or D365 is desirable
- A continuous process improvement mindset, pro-actively seeking improvements and operational efficiencies
- An understanding of HSE issues and Quality principles
- LF/LO Licence
