Arborist Apprenticeship

Complete a 4 Year apprenticeship to become a qualified Arborist. This role encompasses a range of duties including shaping and canopy management, tree health and remediation, environmental development as well as tree dismantling and removal.

About the Role:

- 4 Year apprenticeship, with a Nationally recognised Certificate III in Arboriculture upon completion
- Learn to inspect trees, perform ground-based rigging and tree removal
- Identify trees and implement maintenance programs
- Prune, trim and cut felled trees
- Climbing Trees
- Gardening
- General cleaning
- This is a full-time role, paid at National Training Award rate

About You:

- Hold a valid Western Australian manual driver licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Passionate about a career in the Horticulture industry
- Physically fit as labour intensive
- Highly safety conscious at all times
- Hold a valid White Card
- Strong communication and team work skills
- Great attitude to working outdoors

Non-Essential Skills:

- Certificate II Arboriculture
- Certificate I Conservation and Land Management
- Chainsaw ticket highly regarded
