**About this Opportunity**
The School of Education is seeking to enhance its capacity and leadership within Education teaching and research through the appointment of 3 x Continuing Academics (ranging from Associate (ALA) to Lecturer (ALB) level), who will undertake teaching and research. You will need to be passionate about delivering high-quality, modern, innovative and competitive teaching and research, and about how that teaching and research (a) informs quality pre-service teacher education, (b) supports students, teachers, administrators, academics, community members and policy makers to understand and act on their agency, and (c) advocates for equity and excellence in education.

- **Associate Lecturer /Lecturer** Full time - Teaching Academics with a background and specialisation in Education specific Professional Experience, Literacy and Humanities and Social Sciences (3 x positions available).

**Essential Criteria**
- ALA does not require a PHD qualification.
- A doctoral qualification in relevant discipline (ALB)
- Proven high-level teaching skills with a demonstrated reflective and collaborative approach to teaching and an up-to-date knowledge of contemporary schools.
- Experience in curriculum development and unit/course coordination.
- An established or emerging (ALB) record of research outputs/creative works in high quality refereed academic journals/outlets consistent with the discipline.
- Evidence of an established or emerging (ALB) national reputation and growing international profile and a record of obtaining research income.
- Established or emerging (ALB) record of supervising HDR students.
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster the development of a collegial and supportive working environment and the ability to interact with students, staff and the educational community with cross-cultural sensitivity.
