Chevron Australia has an exciting opportunity for HSE Specialist
- Occupational Hygiene to join the HSE Safety and Occupational Hygiene team. Reporting to the HSE Workforce Health & Safety Manager, this permanent role will be based in Perth.

Be responsible for expert technical advice and consultation to the workforce, project teams, operations, and leadership on a wide range of personal health and occupational exposure matters. This includes workplace health, industrial hygiene, health surveillance programs, health risk assessments across a wide range of chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic agents.

Advise employees on business related health issues; educates business unit on company medical services, counsels on emerging health issues and on health effects of alleged occupational exposures, promotes medical fitness for duty programs.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

- Certified Occupational Hygienist
- Demonstrated ability to communicate on sensitive and complex occupational hygiene issues, at a range of management levels. Ability to perform Exposure Health Risk Assessments
- Detailed knowledge of the occupational hygiene risks associated with hydrocarbon processing facilities. Detailed understanding of occupational exposure monitoring equipment and the limitations and advantages of a wide range of monitoring/measuring techniques.
