- What’s on offer?_
- Perform compliance laboratory testing for bituminous binders and specialty products;
- Design and perform laboratory testing for mix designs/blends to required specifications;
- Perform testing in accordance with relevant standards;
- Analyse test data and corrective action to prevent non-conforming products;
- Ensure products are made within relevant specifications in accordance with the daily schedule;
- Record and report on data/process control;
- Ensure that safety and environmental risks are identified, follow documented processes such as SWMS;
- Complete other tasks required as directed by Laboratory Manager.

To be successful in this role you will have a keen eye for detail and critical thinking. You will have excellent organisational skills with demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines. Ideally you will have an understanding of the asphalt, cement or quarries industries. Having a demonstrated knowledge of Australian standards for laboratories would be viewed favourably, but is not essential as full training will be provided. You will be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
