**Position Information**
- Karabar High School is a partially Selective High school on Ngambri and Ngunnawal lands in Queanbeyan, in the border region of NSW and the ACT. The school has a current enrolment of 1045 students in years 7-12, including 9% Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and 8% English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D).

Karabar High School is committed to high expectations and opportunities for all. **Specific Selection Criteria**
- Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (secondary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs (secondary) in regular classes. Capacity to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs and their teachers.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to build positive relationships with teachers, school support staff, students and parents.
- Capacity to develop, implement and evaluate individualised learning, support and wellbeing plans, in partnership with staff, students, and families.
