As Chief Analyst you will work closely with the Project Executive Director to link multi-agency data to provide Government with comprehensive, system-wide information on how young people interact with multiple justice and human services agencies over time. The Chief Analyst will formalise counting rules, ascertaining general and agency-specific data and analyses needs and work with the Data Scientist and system architect to ensure all data related processes meet the needs of all stakeholders. The Chief Analyst will be required to liaise with data area Executive Directors from other agencies as well as external evaluators.
Key responsibilities

**As Chief Analyst, you will specifically**:

- Manage the development and maintenance of business intelligence solutions to present data and statistics in an accessible and user-friendly manner for distribution to customers. Oversee performance measurement processes for the provision of accurate, reliable and appropriate data to meet the requirements of decision-makers, managers and planners at departmental, State and Commonwealth government levels. Network and collaborate across teams to ensure data and analytics solutions are consistent with standards across Data and Analytics and meeting the needs of Departmental users. Ensure team members can access and use data analysis tools and processes and procedures are current and transferable. Prepare briefing notes and correspondence (including for the Minister) on a range of data and related issues. Contribute to the development of a corporate culture, which is client-focused and values innovation and continuous improvement.
