**About the Home Ownership Domain**

As part of the **Home Ownership** team, within Personal Banking we are working to deliver Australia’s simplest home loan experience for our customers and colleagues. In the role of Head of Mortgage Credit, you are our home lending credit portfolio leader and you will set the strategic direction of the management of financial risk within the home ownership domain, as well as lead the day to day portfolio management operations and decisions across the Home Ownership Domain to be the best bank in Australia for customers looking to buy and own a home.

You will also lead the development and implementation of lending scorecards and serviceability models, the management and optimisation of the portfolio shape, as well as be the product leader for our Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) products.

**Day to day you will**:

- Create scorecard and serviceability model development and usage to manage risk/reward trade offs
- Manage portfolio shaping activities
- Engage and manage NAB stakeholders to inform and manage credit metrics
- Manage portfolio and performance insights
- Support results announcements with high quality analytics and commentary
- Engage and manage third party vendors for LMI products
- Simplify and enhance end-to-end credit decisioning and portfolio management processes
- Manage credit portfolio related regulatory responses
- Prepare material for ongoing regulator engagements
- Optimise capital to maximise return on costs

**What you’ll bring**:
This is a high-profile role with ongoing visibility across all levels in the business, including continuous engagement with the Risk community. In addition, you are not only comfortable with, but thrive on, engaging, communicating and managing internal and external senior executives and stakeholder relationships. Specifically, you will spend considerable time with many of NAB’s group executives and their direct reports. Critical to your success in this role is your expertise in strategic credit execution. You have sound knowledge of banking and home lending processes and come to us with the following background and experience:

- Tertiary qualified with a Degree in Business, Finance or other relevant discipline
- Credit strategy execution and portfolio optimisation and management in home lending or related discipline
- Strategic leadership of risk/reward decisions
- Capital allocation and optimisation
- Data and analytics
- People leadership
- Stakeholder relationship management
- Detail orientation and execution capability
