An exciting career opportunity in the optical industry is available at our optometry practice located in Maroubra. We are seeking a full time or part time Optical Dispenser. You will play a key role in our practice as you assist patients with selecting stylish frames and guidance with their lens choice.

**Description**:
**Key Accountability Areas & Related Responsibilities**:
Provide friendly and efficient reception service and general practice administration duties to ensure the very best patient experience
Assist patients in the selection of optical frames taking into account lifestyle and physical needs
Ensure that delivery of patient jobs, lens and contact lens orders, consignment stock, and ordering of frames and sundry items is accurate and timely.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the practice, including overall presentation and cleanliness

**What we are looking for**:
Accredited Dispensing Qualification (not required but preferred
Excellent customer service, organisation and communication skills with a professional phone manner
Sales ability and learning ability to accurately dispense appropriate optical devices to meet the patient’s needs
Maintains professional expertise through continual awareness of technological developments in lenses
Willingness to work in a team with a positive can-do attitude
Customer service and/or retail skills are essential and optical experience is a bonus.
