Seeking Mature Male

Our Male Client loves going on bushwalks, catching the train into the city and watching a band in the Queen Street Mall. He is an active member of his local community and is keen to maintain his independence. He is quiet, well-mannered and is well supported by his family.

This lovely Client will require assistance with personal cares and community access, and awareness of diabetes through healthy diet choices. Additionally, someone who can be always by his side, so he does not wander off.

Shift times are Wednesday **9.30am-12.30pm, every second Wednesday 3:00-5:00pm, and Saturdays 10am-2pm.**

Your key responsibilities & accountabilities:

- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Client’s needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

To be successful you must:

- Resonate with the role description above
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.45 - $39.99 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
