- Genie software, Part Time Permanent Position - 4 days a week, 6:30am to 2:30pm each day

Our client, a well-respected and busy Fertility and Obstetric practice located in Woolloongabba is actively seeking to appoint an experienced **Medical Receptionist/Secretary **to join their team.
**Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to)**:
- Manage all incoming telephone calls and general patient enquiries
- Assist the Practice Manager with the booking of all new patient referrals
- Preparing and running of all patient consultation clinics as well as IVF/Fertility clinics
- Processing all clinic billing and receipting
- Providing assistance with theatre quotations, theatre bookings for both IVF/Fertility and Obstetric patients
- Manage practice electronic medical records (Genie software/Eclipse Billing/Medical Objects)
- Ensure that infection control principles, policies and protocols are developed and adhered to by all staff and visiting patients to the practice
- General day to day secretarial support for 2 Surgeons
**To ensure your success you will have**:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a Medical Reception and/or Medical Secretarial role (ideally within a private surgical specialist practice, any exposure to IVF/Fertility and/or Obstetrics will be viewed favourably)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good initiative, the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a small team setting
- Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Advanced administrative and computer skills (previous exposure to Genie software ideal)
- Reliable, immaculately presented, confident and courteous along with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
