Suncorp’s Group Financial Crimes division is dedicated to the prevention, detection, and response to financial crime. Reporting to the Identity & Triage Lead - AML CTF, the Financial Crime Officer - AML CTF role will play a part in all aspects of the division, including operational transaction monitoring, customer due diligence, sanction screening and Know Your Customer activities as they relate to Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML CTF) regulations

**This role is full time 12-month contract opportunity based in Brisbane.**

**What you’ll do**
- Manage Transaction Monitoring Alerts, Watchlist, PEP, Customer Due Diligence and SWIFT screening and escalate any suspected or confirmed matches
- Ensure compliance with internal financial crime policies and external regulatory obligations
- Manage KYC activities whilst ensuring SLAs and relevant customer deliverable are met

**What you’ll bring**
- Qualification in financial crime investigative methods and practices is desirable
- 1 years Banking, AML CTF or KYC refresh experience required
- AML CTF & KYC experience desired
- Ability to analyse data and patterns in transactional behaviour
- Customer service experience
- Investigative experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Exception based investigative and analytical capability
