**About the role**
**- **As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will:

At BCE our teachers are required to:

- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is situated in Coorparoo and offers co-educational experience to students and has an approximate enrolment of 600 students. **_Do I have to be Catholic?_**
All BCE teachers must have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

If this role does not require you to teach Religious Education, you do not need to be Catholic.

Our teachers of Religious Education are required to be Catholic and attain Accreditation to teach Religion in a Catholic school. Not accredited to teach in a Catholic school yet? That’s okay, BCE will support you to achieve this through your professional development after you start with us.
