**You will achieve this by**:

- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with staff in the Minister, Director-General and Deputy Director-General Offices, departmental officers and external agencies in relation to the timely provision of relevant Executive and Ministerial documents.
- Leading a team to work flexibly and adapt quickly, and with resilience, to changing requirements and priorities.
- Developing and implementing business processes, standards and systems which support the integrity of system data and undertake effective performance reporting and analysis.
- Overseeing the preparation of executive correspondence reporting, ensuring compliance with style standards
- Working closely with Sport and Recreation staff to continuously improve their capability to deliver timely and quality executive documents.
- Assisting with the annual budget cycle by managing Sport and Recreation's contribution to the development of budget papers and coordinating Sport and Recreation's preparation for the Estimates Hearing process.
- Supervising staff and managing financial resources in accordance with the department's framework including relevant legislation, strategic objectives, policies and contemporary best practice standards.
