We are looking for a results-oriented, dynamic, and savvy leader to continue the development of our brand and grow the business in Australia. This senior leader will be responsible for building a world-class customer brand and supporting exceptional growth in tight time frames.

Reporting to the Director, Prime & Marketing AU, s/he will work within the AU Prime & Marketing team, collaborate closely with global marketing teams as well as local business teams to build a strong, locally relevant brand. S/he will be responsible for building and executing the brand framework for the Amazon AU retail business (and associated categories), manage relationships with internal/external partners, oversee the mass media budget, develop and execute mass and social campaigns ensuring a cohesive brand proposition is presented to our customers. S/he will also develop and execute large scale cross company sale events such as Prime Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday including leading the consumer business by coordinating inputs, developing a great CX and delighting our customers.

We need someone who has a strong bias for action, thinks big, insists on the highest standards, loves to dive deep, wants to learn and is used to delivering results. S/he will be customer obsessed and have experience using data to drive key decisions whilst building a locally relevant brand.
- You have successful track records of developing strongly differentiated positionings and segmentation strategies for consumer products/categories that have met or exceeded business objectives.
- You have proven experience in leading, managing and supporting a talented diverse team, and enjoy all aspects of people management.
- You have go-to-market experience for highly visible consumer products/brands.
- You have developed best practice local creative work within a global framework, with experience managing stakeholders (local and global) within a matrixed organisation.
- You have proven experience developing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns that support new customer acquisition.
- You can think strategically about an entire product line-up, brand, and company to see how all the elements best fit together.
- You like getting your hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done, and diving deep into data to find answers.
- You have strong customer focus and can identify unique consumer insights.
- You have exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience dealing with counterparts in other geographies
- You have experience in creating and executing high velocity, cross company events, managing key inputs and creating exceptional value for customers
- You have experience managing external partner agencies (Media or creative. Ideally both) ensuring they are clearly briefed and deliver effective outcomes on your behalf.
