- Title: Diesel Fitter
- Reports to: Workshop Manager
- Direct Reports: Nil
- **Purpose of the Role**:
Provide effective mechanical service, repair, and maintenance of plant, equipment, and light vehicle fleet.
- Ensure quality standards and compliance with specifications, budget, and schedule
- **Key Responsibilities/Outcomes**:
Implement asset maintenance schedules to ensure effective utilization of company-owned plant and vehicles.
- Ensure all repairs, service, and maintenance are performed to quality standards and compliance.
- Coordinate repair and maintenance jobs according to schedule and expedite any emergency tasks.
- Assist in maintaining required accreditations and comply with Integrated Management System policies.
- **Essential Knowledge & Experience**:
Background in Heavy Plant, Mechanical, and Electrical processes.
- Strong customer service focus and proven management skills.
- Effective planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Trade Certificate in Heavy Plant and current Driver's License.
