About the role

As the Control Tower Manager you will lead the Control Tower function and provide direction to various teams across Lifeblood in order to balance demand and supply for all blood products. Reporting into the Director of Supply Chain, you will also be responsible for the management of fresh inventory and plasma delivery as well as leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimise collection performance.

In this role, you will have the organisational savvy and business insight to navigate and manage complex issues while developing constructive relationships to deliver business outcomes. You will be adept at using key financial indicators to guide decision making and take the lead in identifying and acting on opportunities to deliver and improve business outcomes.

Supply Chain Planning and / or Supply Chain operations background.

Continuous improvement / problem solving experience.

Builds relationships, drives collaboration and able to lead cross functional teams.

Good stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage several initiatives simultaneously, leading small to medium pieces of work in short time periods.

Clear and articulate verbal and written communication skills

Use independent judgment in high pressure and impact situations.

Demonstrates proactive and positive attitude, constantly planning to improve ways of working.

Strong analytical skills

This is a permanent full-time position with a hybrid WFH/Office position based out of our Melbourne Head Office located in West Melbourne. We encourage applicants with a preference for part time work to also apply.
