**Orthopaedic Surgery Fellow - Pelvic Trauma**
2025 Training Year - 12 months Full Time Fixed Term commencing February 2025
The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. **Unit Description**:
The Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of two level-one trauma centres in Victoria and deals with large volumes of pelvic and acetabular fractures. The department is situated on the 7th Floor of RMH along with the department of Rheumatology forming a department of Musculoskeletal Clinical Care and Research. There is a dedicated office with access to modern computers and the internet. A departmental library is also provided.
**About the role**:
The Royal Melbourne Hospital is seeking a Fellow, with a speciality interest in Pelvic Trauma to join the team. The applicant is expected to join in all activities of the Orthopaedic Department and work closely with the Head of the Department and Registrars. The applicant will also be expected to participate in teaching activities within the Department.
**About You**:
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (for international Medical Graduates)
- MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
- Ability to work in a team
- Well-developed communication and presentation skills.
