On 1 July, 2023, the delivery of primary healthcare at Tarrengower Women's Prison will transition from the current service provider to Dhelkaya Health. Dhelkaya Health will be responsible for the provision of primary healthcare to women throughout their prison stay at Tarrengower
This position will primarily provide administrative support to the clinical staff at Tarrengower Women's Prison. The role may also support other areas of the Community Services Directorate as required. Duties will include statistical data entry, word processing, scanning, referral processing, patient admissions and discharges, external clinic scheduling, and general enquiries. The Administration Officer is responsible for ensuring that client record management and daily administrative responsibilities of the services at Tarrengower are carried out efficiently and in accordance with relevant legislation and hospital procedures and policies.
**About you**
The successful applicant will be an all-round admin whizz. You'll have excellent communication skills, provide person-centred care and be a team player. You'll be comfortable navigating your way round the Microsoft Suite, along with other cloud-based systems, CIMS, Medical Software Packages and Patient Resource Databases. If you have experience/knowledge working with Justice Health or in a custodial setting, and are familiar with JCare, or CVIMS that would be an advantage.
