Our Cross River Rail Assets team are an integral part of keeping the assets in the rail infrastructure operational at all times by ensuring network capability. This temporary 12-month opportunity sits in our SEQ Assets division and is based at our Brisbane offices.

**About the role**

In this role you will provide Asset Management services within Network SEQ to ensure the planning for Queensland Rail assets is carried out and captured through integrated planning sourced from multi-disciplinary teams.

**Daily overview**:

- Assist with the managing of systems and processes required to support effective planning and reporting of production against plans as well as ensuring the Integrated Works Plan (IWP) is kept accurate and up to date.
- Assist in the collection, evaluation and integration of detailed plans and associated scopes of works across Network SEQ in cooperation with Planners, Schedulers and other service providers to produce and maintain the IWP.
- Monitor productivity and asset performance against Key Performance Indicator's (KPI) and arrange action as necessary to achieve targets and promote continuous improvement.
- Create, update or provide a variety of reports to monitor performance against KPI's as well as plan vs. actuals performance.
- Attend SCAS planning meetings to ensure effective use of track possessions and to resolve any co-ordination or interface issues with other areas.
- Co-ordinate regular meetings with Supervisors, Co-ordinators, Planners, and other relevant stakeholders, to review actual works against program and clarify up coming works.

**We’re looking for**:

- Strong communication, time management and administration skills.
- Proven background working in planning and scheduling on across diverse multi-disciplinary teams is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in preparing budgets, forecasting as well as evaluating and assessing performance.
- Passion for analysing conceptual planning issues and inter-relationships between the network and other maintenance activities.
- High level of Experience in using EAM’s and project management and scheduling tools like Primavera P3 and Microsoft Project.
