**Your role**

Your role will include performing scheduled maintenance and repair work on overhead cranes, but you also get to challenge yourself on breakdowns where your troubleshooting skills and technical skills will really come into play.

To be successful, you must be a team player with attention to detail. You will be safety focussed, methodical in your approach and have confidence in speaking with customers about their business and your findings.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Perform preventive maintenance not requiring compliance inspections, corrective maintenance, retrofits, crane installation or commissioning.
- Be able to carry out detailed Inspection services to all makes and models of cranes.
- Work independently on repair, complex modernisations and installation jobs on non-standard equipment.
- Be able to identify and source all parts from the Konecranes Store and have a good understanding of the Spare Parts Portal.
- Be able to offer large repair and modernisation solutions to customers.
- Be able to attend emergency breakdowns, identify and repair faults on non-standard cranes.
- Have a detailed understanding of Konecranes and Demag products and services.
- Have a detailed understanding of Konecranes and Demag Service tools.
- Have the ability to train other technicians.
- Have a detailed understanding of Konecranes and Demag Company, Safety and Risk assessment procedures.
- Be able to provide competent supervision to other colleagues on larger projects.
- Support and train level 1 and 2 Technicians.
- Have a detailed understanding of Australian Standards.

**About you**:

- Electrical Trade Licence essential
- Must be willing to work a** **FIFO 8/6 Roster
- Must be willing to travel for the role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both our customers and our service technicians.
- Current and valid Driver's Licence
- Safety conscious
- Comfortable working at heights is a MUST
- Elevated work Platform Ticket (desirable).
