Tweed Community & Allied Health are pursuing a Social Worker or Psychologist to join their Child Protection team. Providing high quality clinical services and leadership as an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team for patients/clients of the Northern NSW Local Health District. As part of the Integrated Prevention and Response to Violence, Abuse and Neglect (IPARVAN) Service, Child Protection Counsellors provide a tertiary counselling service to children, young people and families where child abuse and domestic violence has occurred.

**_If you have/are:_**
- Relevant qualification in Bachelor of Social Work and eligible for membership of The Australian Social Work Association OR Degree in Psychology with full registration as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) prior to commencing
- Understanding of developmental or complex trauma, the dynamics of child abuse and neglect and the impact of maltreatment upon children, young people and their families
- Ability to utilise problem solving skills and a multidisciplinary team approach in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care and effectively prioritise and organise own work/caseload and demonstrated ability to supervise professional, technical and support staff
