About the role
The primary focus of the position is to plan for, and deliver, in park services as directed by the Manager to enable efficient and effective delivery at an Area level in accordance with the Regional and District Action Plans. The Ranger will undertake activities requiring a level of environmental and service expertise and the position will be accountable for personal performance. The Ranger will demonstrate a strong personal work ethic and actively participate in a team environment ensuring that the overall success of the team is considered to be an outcome of individual success. The Ranger will be adaptable and flexible to on the ground service requirements in order to ensure superior park management services are achieved at all times.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- Demonstrated experience in self-management and supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The incumbent must be available to work weekends and public holidays if required.
- A tertiary qualification in Certificate or Diploma in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in a similar field is preferable (or is required).
- A current employee Working with Children Check
- A current Resume
- A cover letter or seperate statement addressing the Key Selection Criteria (KSC) as outlined in the position description.
