**Role Description**:
Apprenticeship Careers Australia will support you to complete a 4 week (Full Time) Pre-Employment Program prior to commencing your new role to prepare you for working as a Aged Care Trainee The cost of your police and other workers accreditation will be covered along with Entry into Aged Care Skill Set Qualification.

Once you complete the 4 week pre-employment course you will have the opportunity to undertake a Certificate III Individual Support Traineeship with one of our Aged Care Provider partners. You will be a permanent employee for the duration of the traineeship and earn an hourly rate plus super along with annual leave and personal leave entitlements under the SCHADS award.

**About the Role**:
Aged Care workers provide compassionate care to clients within a facility setting There are a huge number of services that you will provide for clients as a Aged Care Worker including, but not limited to:

- personal care, such as assistance getting dressed
- assist with social activities
- linking with local community groups and social activities
