Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long form animated shows distributed on Youtube. Our channel has over 10 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our latest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 300 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come.

**Job Information**:
Glitch Productions is seeking a highly capable and diligent Animatic Editor who has a strong understanding of timing, pacing and shot flow. You will be at the beginning of our animation pipeline, working closely with the previsualisation team.

**Your duties will include**:

- Compiling animatics in Premiere Pro from imported storyboard panels, video clips, audio files and other assets.
- Execute edits with precise timing to achieve the desired tone and mood of the shows.
- Adjusting animatic edits based on feedback from Showrunner/Lead.
- Organising editorial materials and exporting files.
- Scratch/temp sound design from library materials.
- At least 1 year experience doing animatic editorial or similar, on a high-quality production
- Extensive experience of Adobe Premiere Pro within an animation pipeline.
- Ability to do complex manipulation of materials to create/edit camera moves or changes within Premiere Pro.
- Strong technical and creative editorial skills, with the ability to develop solutions and contribute creative input within the editorial.
- Good understanding of both 3D and 2D animation production and workflows.
- Extremely organised with editorial materials and able to help improve systems to track multiple versions of these materials.
- Appreciation for anime, underground films and stop-motion animation.

**Bonus Skills**
- Experience with Storyboard Pro, also experience with Unreal Engine or Maya
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to adapt to the needs of a production.
- An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or ‘internet nerd’ culture.
- Be extremely organised and have a strong work ethic.
- Engaging personality and willingness to learn.
- Positive, go-getter attitude with a passion for making things.
