As our new Procurement and Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the development and management of the Procurement Framework, including supporting policies and procedures and ensuring it meets all regulatory, governance and business requirements. The role leads a team of procurement specialists focussed on value-adding and providing commercially astute advice to drive value for money outcomes.

The Procurement and Contracts Manager will also work closely with key stakeholders to develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance.

The Procurement and Contracts Manager will also provide leadership, direction and effective management of the Procurement Team and cross-functional working groups to achieve a high-level of performance in procurement and deliver high quality advice and service to stakeholders.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in procurement, business administration or related fields.
- Extensive experience in strategic procurement, supplier management, process improvements and contract management.
- Strong ability to influence outcomes through high level of interpersonal, communication and persuasive negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated high level leadership and people management experience to drive a positive team culture
- Advanced understanding of contemporary procurement practices and procurement best practices, industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in an organization with similar values and ethics to DevelopmentWA is highly desirable. DevelopmentWA’s culture is based on a set of values that include a personal commitment to:
