The opportunity

Operating as Black Bag Roasters we have a purpose-built facility with state-of-the-art equipment. This site is a monumental milestone for Nomad Coffee Group and positions the company for some exciting growth.

We are currently seeking a Production Roaster. This coffee roasting position is the ideal way to progress to the next step of your coffee career. You will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and develop into a complete coffee professional.

**Key facets of the role**:

- Operating Brambati green loading and 600kg Roaster, maintaining a continuous flow of product. + achieving production targets.
- Preparing and completing accurate records for QC and maintenance.
- Cleaning and housekeeping.
- Committed to safety and quality assurance and SQF procedures.
- Utilising and analysing roasting software.

What skills and knowledge do I need?
- Roasting and Coffee Quality Knowledge. Previous roasting experience on a Brambati or Probat is highly desirable.
- A mechanically-minded individual with a high aptitude in automated equipment operation.
- An understanding of SQF, HACCP and GMP with strong attention to detail, safety and reliability.
- Committed to quality in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to follow policy, procedures and instructions.
- Confidence using technology & systems.
- Forklift licence advantageous.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines under pressure in fast-moving environment.
- A high level of communication, organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
