**High Risk EWP Trainer and Assessor**

Our client a leading RTO in Sydney, has requested a qualified High Risk EWP Trainer and Assessor.

Your responsibilities as a trainer may include:
Curriculum Development: Delivering training materials and courses that cover relevant safety regulations, industry best practices, and risk management.

Conducting Training Sessions: Delivering engaging and informative training sessions to groups or individuals, both in a classroom setting and practical, hands-on exercises.

Demonstrating Techniques: Showing trainees how to properly use safety equipment such as harnesses, lanyards, ropes, and anchorage points as well as Elevated Work Platforms.

Risk Assessment: Teaching trainees how to assess potential hazards and risks associated with working at heights and how to implement appropriate control measures.

Emergency Procedures: Instructing individuals on emergency response protocols in case of accidents or incidents while working at heights.

Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring that all training materials and courses adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.

As an assessor, your role includes:
Evaluation: Assessing the competency and performance of trainees through practical demonstrations and theoretical examinations.

Feedback and Coaching: Providing constructive feedback to trainees to help them improve their skills and knowledge in working safely at heights.

Certification: Issuing certificates or qualifications to those who successfully complete the training and assessment process.

Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of training and assessment outcomes for audit and compliance purposes.

To be effective in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge and experience in working at heights safety, including familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards. Strong communication and instructional skills are also essential for effectively delivering training and providing feedback to trainees.

Additionally, keeping up-to-date with industry advancements, new safety technologies, and changes in regulations is crucial to maintain the relevance and accuracy of your training programs. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of workers who carry out tasks at elevated locations, minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries in the workplace.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $350.00 - $500.00 per day
