**Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Prefabrication Supervisor to join our team at Sunshine North, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role will include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Prefabrication business unit’s profitability, process improvement and implementation which support the Production, Quality, Safety, Sales and Scheduling departments
- Work closely with key stakeholders, both internal and external to oversee the completion of tasks that increase productivity, consistency, quality and profitability of the Prefabrication business unit under the direction of the Operations Manager
Oversee 3rd party relationships and purchasing of prefabrication
Supervision of employees to ensure uninterrupted production process across multiple shifts
Lead prefabrication business unit ensuring budgeted targets are achieved and exceeded
Oversee the morning and afternoon shift.
To Be Successful
- Tertiary education in Business, Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering desirable
- Project, Steel fixing, Fabrication management or equivalent experience preferable
- Technical knowledge and skills in manufacturing processes and building design
- Capable of competently liaising with internal staff in professional and pleasant manner
- Work in a team environment that fosters getting the job done
- Ability to multi task people, events, systems and deadlines
- High degree of quality awareness
- Attention to detail
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Supervisory experience essential
