**About the team**:
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) Division is an exciting, fast-paced division that drives the digital agenda for the Department of Industry, Science, and Resources. Leading the delivery of the department’s digital offerings, the CIO Division partners with business areas and stakeholders to:

- Realise the digital policy objectives of the department
- Define the department’s digital landscape and strategies
- Drive innovation and transformation of ICT services and solutions.

As part of the Digital Strategy and Cyber Security Branch, the Enterprise Architecture and Digital Strategy team drives the strategic direction of digital in the department. The team supports the CIO Division by:

- Supporting strategic decision making
- Providing enterprise level advice to executive on digital and technical capabilities
- Establishing strategic direction on the technical realisation of business capability within the department
- Ensuring proper governance of architectural decisions and delivery of projects and services
- Responding to the challenges laid out in the Digital Strategy 2023-26
- Progressing the actions laid out in the Digital Strategy Implementation Plan
- Championing accessibility through the projects and services of the division
- Establishing an analysis capability within the division
- Collaborating with the DTA and other agencies on Whole of Government priorities

**The opportunity**

The opportunity is in a generalist role as an Assistant Manager of the team establishing the Digital Strategy and Analysis capability that will drive the realisation of the Digital Strategy 2023-26, respond to the challenges identified in that strategy, and drive continuous improvement of digital delivery in the department.

**What you will do**:
In this role you will;
- Plan, prioritise, and progress the actions laid out in the Digital Strategy 2023-26 Implementation Plan
- Facilitate the proactive governance of the Digital Strategy through Operations Committee and Executive Board
- Work collaboratively with other areas within the department and across government to deliver outcomes and share knowledge
- Establish and lead an analysis capability as a valuable function of CIO Division
- Provide strategic support, guidance and leadership toward divisional, departmental and Whole of Government priorities
- Prioritise and lead continuous improvement of key team and divisional functions and processes
- Work collaboratively with the Chief Information Officer, General Managers and other section Managers to deliver the Group’s vision and priorities
