**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tyre Fitter. This position involves fitting and repairing tyres on various vehicles, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide excellent customer service and ensure the proper installation and maintenance of tyres.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Inspect and assess tyres for wear, damage, or other issues.
- Remove and replace tyres on vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Mount and balance tyres to ensure proper alignment and performance.
- Repair punctures and other tyre damage using industry-approved methods.
- Perform wheel alignments and adjustments as needed.
- Inflate tyres to the recommended pressure levels.
- Rotate tyres to promote even wear and extend their lifespan.
- Maintain accurate records of tyre installations, repairs, and replacements.
- Provide recommendations to customers regarding tyre selection, maintenance, and safety.
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate tyres for their vehicles based on their needs and budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in tyre fitting and maintenance.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Collaborate with team members to meet customer demands and achieve department goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tyre technology and fitting techniques.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a tyre fitter or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of tyre types, sizes, and specifications.
- Familiarity with tyre fitting tools and equipment.
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in tyre fitting and maintenance.
- Valid driver's license.
- Relevant certifications or training in tyre fitting is a plus.
