The Role
We have an exciting permanent full-time position available to join our Educational Delivery team in Electrotechnology at TAFE Queensland's Ipswich Campus.
As a TAFE Teacher in Electrotechnology you will have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
This position reports to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary
The salary range for a TAFE Teacher is $88,547 - $118,528 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must possess UEE30811/UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology, and the following:

- current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
- current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
- vidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment; and
- current Queensland Driver's licence.

Additionally, to become a TAFE Teacher, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:

- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (or TAELLN401A) and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools (or TAESS502A or TAEASS502B); or
- TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or
- TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or
- TAE50211 Diploma of Train
