Reporting to Rollingstock Maintenance Manager, the position includes the following responsibilities:

- Coordinating the maintenance activities of the rolling stock fleet to ensure the safety, reliability, and availability of the equipment.
- Assist in organising Shunts into Maintenance Facilities at all locations.
- Attend daily meetings with wagon maintainer to follow up on the progress of maintenance activities.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers of rolling stock equipment and maintenance services.
- Raising PO’s and organising payments for the completed maintenance services.
- Assist in developing the wagon condition reports and conducting audits.
- Record all the rollingstock failures and assist in following up the corrective actions to the reported failures from the wagon maintainer.
- Manage documentation related to rolling stock
- Assist the Rollingstock Maintenance Manager in preparing reports and presentations on maintenance activities, performance metrics, and other relevant topics.

- Relevant experience in Rail & Logistics environment
- Proven track record in building internal and external relationships
- Experience implementing new systems and processes

**Desirable**
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
