**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a Team Leader - Fast Track. In this role you will be responsible for:

- Identifying problem areas of processing across the development area of Council and provide feedback/make recommendations to improve the standard of process delivery.
- Experience in development assessment and mentoring assessment staff. Previous experience leading a team of planners is desirable, but not essential
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in town planning
- Knowledge of relevant legislation affecting Local Government development assessment, with particular reference to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and Local Government Act
- Demonstrated commitment to efficient processes and ongoing customer service
- Commitment to role modelling our values of: Respect, Integrity, Optimism, Trust and Teamwork.
