HR Manager required to drive the HR function across the fast moving company
**Your new company**
HR Manager required for an Australian-owned fruit grower. In this role you will lead by example, with a contemporary, authentic and people-focused style that allows you to drive the HR function across the business.
**Your new role**
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention of talent
- Learning and Development: Implement training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion efforts to create an inclusive workplace.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of employee engagement and satisfaction through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and improvement initiatives.
- Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and ensuring a positive workplace culture.
- Labour Relations Management: Build and maintain effective relationships with labour unions, employee representatives, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Policy Development: develop, review, and update company policies related to labour and employee relations.
**To be successful in this role**
- Professional background and experience: At least 7 years experience in human resources in a business. Experience in leadership roles and team management is desired.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in HR / IR are preferred. Business administration qualifications are not essential but are favourable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships.
- Personal attributes: Ability to think strategically and align HR with groups goals. Strong inter-personal skills. Excellent ability to work well in a close team environment. Effective time management and prioritisation skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Growth mindset with a focus on process improvement and delivery of best practice within the role parameters. Show initiative and the ability to work autonomously, take responsibility for outcomes and be results orientated.
