**Your new role**

An unmissable opportunity to demonstrate your well-rounded retail knowledge and leadership skills in the role of Shop Supervisor at Vinnies Jannali. You will facilitate the efficient operation of the store, be ready to support team members with their enquiries, and oversee customer service being provided by your team. You will be working with a diverse team of volunteers, hence your ability to positively engage with them is critical to this role.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operation of the store, including: sorting/pricing of stock; ensuring sufficient staff on roster; effective visual merchandising, general housekeeping etc.
- Oversee customer service, ensure customer needs and complaints are promptly dealt with; manage de-escalation of volatile situations as need arise
- Coach and motivate team towards achieving financial targets
- Ensure all financial transactions and banking are compliant with policies and procedures
- Ensure the team is able to provide maximum positive experience for all customers
- Communicate with the Retail Area Manager on all relevant matters, and provide regular reports as needed.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Relevant qualification/s in Retail
- Retail management or supervisory experience
- Experience in customer facing role and proven skills in managing customer complaints
- Ability to mentor and motivate a dynamic team of employees and volunteers
