Insurance Claims Officer

**About Us**:
Western General Bodyworks is one of the nation’s largest independent collision repair company. We are a rapidly expanding smash repair service with a growing number of fixed repair centers in Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales.

**About the Role**:
You will be crucial in managing all stages of an insurance claim, from initial filing to settlement, including sourcing claim recovery when appropriate and advising business partners on claims.

You will interact with a number of important internal parties in this role, such as Linfox Workshops, Site/Branch Managers, Operations Staff, as well as external insurance providers, brokers, repairers, and other parties.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Management of end-to-end claims within the portfolio to an efficient and successful conclusion
- Accurate, timely, and proactive actioning, uploading, and management of claims, insurance-related tasks, and other duties as necessary
- Effectively coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, business partners, and outside parties.
- Offer stakeholders and business partners guidance and support regarding insurance and claims.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Motor Vehicle Claims, Claim Recoveries, or Insurance Industry.
- Possess intermediate to advanced proficiency with the entire Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Results orientated, and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders, strong written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining focus.

**Salary**: $57,809.73 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Footscray, VIC 3011: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
