Flourish Holistic Services is looking a exceptional and experienced community **Allied Health Assistant on casual or Part time basis **to join our team at **17 Nabro St, Truganina, VIC- 3027.**

**Purpose** of this role is to focus on promoting health and wellbeing by enabling people to participate in the everyday occupations of life.

Working as an AHA with our NDIS participants in clinic, tele-health and community setting with diagnosed mental health conditions and physical disabilities. AHA will have the opportunity to work with Clients who display high behaviours and low behaviour. AHA will be involved in clients care to improve their motor skills, function, mobility, and quality of life. In this role you will provide individual therapy sessions, assist occupational therapy staff in co-treatment sessions; and take with other responsibilities which includes the management of equipment’s tasks and write case notes and assist with report writing. You will also work with the multidisciplinary team to provide excellent person-centred care.

**Key Responsibility Area**:

- Deliver high-quality clinical services and Healthy Living Programs for individuals and groups.
- Working within the NDIS to maximize client’s level of function, capacity & social engagement.
- Timely documentation & report writing.
- Managing a varied caseload.
- Attending meetings, supervision & personal development (as required).
- Working across leading software platforms & online tool.
- Supervise a range of Healthy Living Programs - physical, online, and aquatic activity programs for all age group.
- Support and collaborate with a range of health professionals within FHS.

**KPI’s**
- Emphasis on participant satisfaction to increase the client retention rate.
- Frequent communication with the client whilst keeping the client informed and updated daily.
- Minimum daily sessions target will be expected to achieve to increase the efficiency.
- You will be expected to reduce the session cancellation rate to a mínimal.
- Contribute to a culture that values ongoing learning and be part of a positive workplace.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required**:

- Certificate IV Allied Health Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in similar role.
- Some experience working as an AHA in a health care and community setting.
- Some Experience working in community setting is highly desirable.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have excellent written and spoken English.
- Be willing to learn and be committed to providing excellent patient care.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption)
- Police Check & International Police Check (only applicable to individuals who have lived overseas)
- First Aid
- Driving license and car to commute to the clients.

**Hourly Wage Rate - $30 - $32 plus superannuation**
