Working in partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.

Comprising, Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, the private sector partners are looking to build their metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model and will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney.

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Traffic Engineer to work within the team Supervision & Traffic Team reporting to the Traffic Manager.

**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking an experienced traffic supervisor to support the Traffic Manager in the delivery of Construction Traffic Management Plan and ensure its correct implementation to ensure safety of personnel and the public is maintained throughout the delivery of the SSTOM works.

A traffic supervisor is responsible for the planning and coordination with the appointed traffic control company to ensure Traffic Management Plans are implemented correctly to ensure safety of workers on-site and the general public.

The traffic supervisor will work closely with the Traffic Manager and Site Supervisors to coordinate daily activities with the wider delivery team and Traffic Management Contractors, and monitor implemented traffic manage to ensure compliance with both approved CTMP, and relevant
- Traffic Control at Work Sites _Technical Manual.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate traffic management implementation by the Traffic Management Contractors to ensure traffic management implementation is completed on-time to meet Project Requirements and maintain safety for workers and general public;
- Inspect works completed by Traffic Management Contractors and compile reporting and maintain a schedule of records of inspections and corrective measures implemented.
- Assist with the establishment of protocols and respond to traffic safety incidences relating to construction activities associated with SSTOM works and associated reporting.
- Ensure ROL and any other necessary statutory approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
- Monitor and ensure any departures from Construction Traffic Management Plan approvals are reported to the Traffic Manager and assist in the preparation of updated Construction Traffic Management Plans as required.
- Assist the Traffic Manager and Traffic Engineer in the delivery of necessary construction traffic management tasks.

**Criteria**:

- An intimate understanding of the necessary resources required to meet both short-term and long-term traffic management requirements set out in _Traffic Control at Work Sites _Technical Manual.
- Previous experience in the coordination of Traffic Control Subcontracts.
- Holder of a current SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training Card for the following types of Traffic Control work:

- Prepare a work zone traffic management plan (PWZ);
- Implement traffic control plans (IMP); and
- Traffic Controller (TCR).
- Understanding of the Road Occupancy License (ROL) process.
- Experience in auditing traffic management implementation and demonstrated ability to work with Traffic Control Subcontractors to implement changes necessary to ensure safety of workers and the general public are maintained at all times.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in a similar role.
