**Your Role**
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Radiocommunications Technician to join our team in Wetherill Park, NSW. As a technician you will be responsible for the maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure state-wide.
**Some of the key responsibilities are**:
- Understand scope of works on build drawings and site survey findings.
- Install and maintain WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G/NBN technologies.
- Install radio base stations, terminating Hybriflex Cables and Coaxial feeder cables/tails, earthing, cable trays, diplexers, combiners.
- Upgrade or install DC power rack systems including rectifiers, batteries and load testing.
- Ability to configure and capture status for Hand Over Packs (HOP's)
- Commissioning and integration of RBS into network
- Conduct PIM, VSWR and sweep and fibre testing.
- Troubleshoot, replace defective equipment and monitor site performance
- Install and commission microwave indoor and outdoor units.
- Software installation, testing and commissioning of sites
- Build and maintain collaborative business relationships with client support personnel.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with team and business staff.
**Desirable skills needed are**:
- Tertiary qualification in Telecommunications or Engineering science, electronics or microprocessors
- Equivalent experience as telecommunications technician if no qualification is held.
- Experience in installation, commissioning and testing of Nokia and/or Ericsson equipment.
- Current Working at Heights / Tower Rescue Ticket; First Aid and CPR.
- Construction White Card.
- Full Manual Drivers Licence.
- Radhaz RF EME Awareness, Telstra, NBN, Vodafone, Optus 3G/4G experience will be highly regarded.
- Able to work away from home if required
- Currently located in Australia is highly desirable but not limited to

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $37.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
