- **About the role**

Drake Medox are seeking fun, enthusiastic and hard-working Disability Support Workers to provide in-home care wonderful client living in the Guildford.
- Our client is a ventilated quadraplegic male, living in his own home.
- We are seeking support workers to join his dynamic team on an on-going basis.
- This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference in our client's life, as well as enhance your skills and knowledge with ongoing client specific training.- Morning 0700-1500- Afternoons 1500-2300- Active Overnights
- 2200-0700Succesful applicants will have experience and understanding of the disability industry and providing person-centred support to individuals.
- Passionate about supporting independence and providing in-home support
- Reliable and honest people with the ability to adapt to new environments

**Duties**:

- Continual clinical assessment of client
- Catheter care
- Personal care including skin integrity management and pressure area care
- Assisting alongside the Support Worker with ADL's
- Medication administration
- Bowel care management
- Manual handling
- Supporting the client with activities at home and out in community

**About you**:

- Australian Driver's License and reliable car
- NDIS Workers Screening Check*Mandatory requirement*
- Current First Aid Certification *Mandatory requirement*
- Current CPR Certification *Mandatory requirement*
- Manual Handling Certification *Mandatory requirement*
- Assist with Medication Certification
- English Fluency - verbal and written
- Certificate III in Individual Support of equivalent *Mandatory requirement*
