Fowler is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate Draftsperson to join our vibrant and dedicated team.

Reporting direct to the Drafting Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Assist in creating a library of master drawings for all Fowler Homes designs.
- Assist in creating new designs and facades as directed.
- Revisit and modify current designs and facades.
- Prepare colour renderings of new facades.
- Conduct quality assurance and compliance checks on all projects including master designs.
- Ensure that all current building codes, including council and developer guidelines are up to date and applied to all jobs.
- Preparation of drawings and documentation, which are fit for purpose, practical, cost effective, comply with relevant design and regulatory standards, and comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Quality Control requirements.
- Liaison and coordination of consultants and builders on projects/tasks.
- Proactively plan, coordinate, track and undertake assigned project tasks not limited to but in accordance with Fowler Homes workflow system.
- Undertake standard detailing, standard product development and maintenance.
- Work closely with other staff to clarify drafting and/or documentation issues throughout the design, documentation and construction phases.
- Maintaining project files, documentation and drafting standards up to date, in order and in accordance with Company standards.
- Attend and participate in meetings as required.
- Undertake site inspections and visits as required.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in local drafting and/or design experience required.
- Must be able to proactively plan, manage, coordinate, track and undertake assigned project tasks efficiently.
- Be able to perform well under pressure and have the ability to prioritise workload to meet firm deadlines.
- Must have good knowledge and experience in the use of Revit Software.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and databases are required.
- Strong knowledge of design standards and new home construction.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of the BCA, CDC and Local Authority DCPs.
- Acute attention to detail.
