Architectural Draftsperson

LDG Engineering is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Architectural Draftsperson to join our well-established office. You will work in a team orientated environment, on a variety of commercial, and industrial projects.

You will be involved in the whole project lifecycle from concept design to construction drawings assisting the Project Manager. You will be part of a team with strong project management skills, and develop your experience in all aspects of documentation, stakeholders’ management, risk management, concept design, quality control, 3d drafting, shop drawing, manufacturing drawings, and project management.

Skills and experience required for the position:

- Architecture degree or similar qualification with sound understanding of design principles
- Proficient in Autocad 2D and 3D, Inventor, Sketchup, Lumion and Revit.
- Proficient in MS Office suite (with strong experience in Microsoft Project)
- Minimum 4 years of experience
- Experience dealing with suppliers and customers
- Ability to issue a high detail level of drawings (shop & manufacturing drawings)
- Sound understanding of the National Construction Code of Australia (NCC) and Australian Standards
- Ability to work and collaborate as part of a project team
- Ability to read, understand consultant drawings and provide feedback
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Motivated and eagerness to learn
- Rights to work in Australia

Salary Range: $75,000 to $95,000 per annum
