**About our school**

Tyndale is a preschool to Year 12 co-educational school located in Blacktown, Sydney. At Tyndale we believe that God has given parents the responsibility for the nurture of their children according to the Word of the Lord. Tyndale is therefore committed to partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children by equipping students to be disciples of Jesus through Christ-centred Biblical education.

**About the role**

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed Educators to fulfil the casual role of Childcare Educator in Tyndale Christian School's Before and After School Care program, Kids' Club.

Kids’ Club is a before and after school / vacation care service for students in Kindergarten to Year 6 (Primary school) who attend Tyndale Christian School. We have a dedicated purpose built building in the school grounds with access to all school facilities including the oval, playgrounds, hall and library. Our experienced team of educators are dedicated in providing a safe and engaging space with tailored experiences that meet the interests and developmental needs of the students who attend. Kids' Club's hours of operation are 7.00am-8.20am for Before School Care, 3.00pm-6.00pm for After School Care and 7.00am-6.00pm for Vacation Care.

**Essential Criteria**
- Christian of a Reformed/Evangelical persuasion, who is an active member of a Reformed/Evangelical church
- Whole-heartedly subscribe to the School’s Educational Creed
- Actively working towards a degree, diploma or certificate in school age education and care or a related field that is accredited by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educators, administrators and parents to create a positive learning environment for young children
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Genuine passion for working with children

**Desirable Criteria**
- Possess a Diploma in School Age Education and Care
- Experience working in an OOSH setting
- Possess a current first aid certificate, asthma and anaphylaxis training and the completion of a recognised child protection course

The commencement date for this position is to be determined by negotiation.
