Being part of a small, well known company, you will get exposure to all aspects of the operation.
- Measure volumes of material moved, and blasted and peg out areas to be mined and
- Survey mine configuration and control, locate blast and exploration holes and update site plans
- Maintain an effective mechanism for reconciling coal mining and overburden production with expected or planned performance
- Maintain systems to analyse and support the regular tracking and continuous improvement around loss and dilution in coal mining.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary studies in Surveying or relevant discipline
- Authorised Mine Surveyor Grade 2
- Experience as a surveyor in open cut coal mining operations
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles and roles involving reconciliation
- Excellent interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Sound computer skills in Vulcan, Microsoft Office and Point Studio
- G1,8,9 & G2
- Drivers licence
- CASA Drone License preferred but not necessary
