Front Office Receptionist

About the role:
- The primary responsibility of this position is to performing hotel front office duties
- Assist guests arriving and departing the hotel through the check-in and departure process
- Handle guest requests, inquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently
- Provide information on all facilities provided within the hotel
- Take reservations and update online rates/inventory
- Assist in achieving motel goals such as up selling and guest satisfaction scores
About you:
- Experience in a similar role within a hotel/motel environment
- Experience with computer and motel management system would be preferable
- Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude, a good eye for detail.
- Excellent grooming and presentation skills
- Ability to work morning/afternoon shifts and night caretaker when required.
- Excellent organisational, time-management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
.Australian residents are preferred but not necessary.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: From $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Katoomba NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
