**The Role**

The Coordinator Design and Survey is required to lead the Design and Survey team in the delivery of high-quality civil works designs and support multi-disciplinary teams across the organisation.

This role ensures the efficient and effective delivery of survey and design responses to inform the Capital Works program and provides high quality and accurate response information and advice to internal and external stakeholders.

**About You**

Demonstrated proficiency in the use of CAD and information technology, coupled with high level communication and analytical skillsand a demonstrated ability to investigate and analyse complex design issues with a high level of attention to detail.

**Key Selection Criteria**
- 4-year tertiary degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professionals Engineers Registrations Act 2019.
- Experience and sound knowledge in the design of road and drainage related civil infrastructure, traffic management and development including the utilisation of computer-aided design and drafting systems.
- Demonstrated experience in all facets of project management, project estimating, preparation of specifications and budgeting procedures for a range of local government related infrastructure projects.
- Experience in the management and leadership of a team of professionals.
- Highly developed information technology skills including spreadsheets, database, and GIS.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, direct, mentor and motivate a customer service focused team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent financial reporting and time management skills.
