OrganizingThe Public Relations Officer is the primary role of the Media and Communications unit of the company, which is to promote the national messages and advocacy priorities for the company itself and its projects to the Australian public via traditional and social media.

Primary Accountabilities:

- Planning and organizing publicity campaigns and communication strategies;
- Advising executives on the public relations implications of their policies, programs, and practices;
- Preparing and controlling the issue of social media releases;
- Undertaking and commissioning public opinion and market research, analyzing the findings, and planning public relations and promotional campaigns;
- Organizing special events, seminars, entertainment, and social functions;
- Representing organizations and arranging executive interviews with the press, social media platforms, and related organizations;
- Attending business, social, and other functions to promote the company; and
- Commissioning and obtaining photographs and other illustrative material.

Essential:

- Demonstrated ability to raise an organization's profile by securing significant media exposure;
- 2-3 years of communications experience;
- Bachelor or higher qualification;
- Building and enhancing public relationships;
- Exceptional written and strong oral communication skills;
- Multi-lingual speaker is preferred, especially fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Ability to operate in a complex, multifaceted charitable environment, including working with a wide range of stakeholders;
- Experience developing innovative and engaging social content plans for a range of audiences;
- An excellent communicator and able to partner cross-functionally across the business;
- Able to ensure procedures are in place and are adhered to for timely and accurate reporting and consolidation; and
- Highly organized, has great attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering to deadlines.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
