**Purpose**

Simply put, the job of a Venue Maintenance Technician is to repair and maintain a variety of building fittings, venue equipment, bowling systems & arcade machines. You will be supported by and provide support to the Facilities Manager. You will be a lateral thinker with a passion for problem-solving and have a hands-on, can-do attitude.

**Responsibilities**
- General repairs and maintenance across all venues and their assets, such as general building maintenance, kitchen & bar equipment, furnishings & fittings, lighting, audio-visual systems.
- Commission, install and maintain new and used amusement games.
- General upkeep and servicing of bowling lanes, systems, and related equipment.
- Communicate with game manufacturers and distributors for information on spare parts, game configuration, and upkeep of amusement products.
- Manage your day-to-day scheduling of service & maintenance visits across venues, communicating to venue managers about your activities, findings, and potential impact on the daily operations of Varsity.
- Direct and efficient communication to peers, venue managers, and your facilities manager to a Varsity standard.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in equipment maintenance, electrical/electronic or technical services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with peers, venue managers, and facilities manager.
- Proactive mindset in identifying problems and proposing actions for resolution to create safe and reliable environments for staff and customers.
- Passion for delivering safe and well-maintained environments, equipment, and amusement games to enhance customer experiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day scheduling of service & maintenance visits.
- Flexibility to adapt to a evolving role as the department expands and provide input for planning and improvements.
