Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across three campuses in the north-east of Melbourne and state-wide. **Ward 10 is an Acute Ward for Aged care patients who present with an acute illness. Patients are primarily transferred directly from the Austin Emergency department.**

**About the role**
- The role of the PSA involves the performance of a wide range of task
- Serving of patient meals and beverages in accordance with dietary restrictions
- Routine and periodical cleaning task
- Under the supervision of nursing staff, assist with patient movement and handling in accordance with the “movesmart” system
- Such other duties as are directed by the nurse in charge of the shift and which are relevant to the role of a PSA
